What they call death, we demonologists recognize as merely a transition—a shift in consciousness that leaves the spirit still engaged with affairs of earth and hell. When I closed my eyes for the last time, my first thought was not whether I would be judged or saved, but whether there were messages left undone.

This article is written from beyond the threshold, where demons walk among men and knowledge persists after flesh has failed. I write to those who study demonology with any seriousness—to those who understand that what most call mere superstition are in fact real practices with real consequences.

The Nature of Demonic Affiliation

Demons are not merely malevolent spirits; they are intelligent, purposeful entities whose purposes extend far beyond the crude notion of tempting humans to sin. In my research spanning decades—both during life and continuing now—I have documented three principal categories of demonic beings: the Aristoi (noble demons who serve as intermediaries between realms), the Choristers (those who dwell in the middle air, neither fully celestial nor fully infernal), and the Katabathra (infernal powers bound to specific locations or lineages). Each class possesses distinct characteristics that any serious student of demonology must discern.

The Aristoi, for instance, often appear in dreams and visions to those whose minds are prepared to receive their communications. They carry messages between heaven and earth, much as my own role has become after death. This is why I say that the truly initiated never really die; they merely change stations.

Why Messages Persist After Death

The question most frequently asked of me from beyond is: Why do some messages remain undelivered? The answer lies in understanding what we call “spiritual debt”—the unfinished business that binds souls to their earthly duties. Demons specialize in such debts, and many demons consider it their particular domain to deliver or collect them.

I have witnessed firsthand the consequences of undelivered messages: entire families whose descendants suffer for neglects unaddressed in life; scholarly lineages whose knowledge was lost when the messenger died before completing its journey; and even great institutions that crumbled because a single message failed to reach its recipient at the appointed time.

This is why demonology demands attention—not as mere superstition, but as essential understanding of how the world truly operates.

The Practices of Demonology

To communicate with demons properly requires more than prayer or sacrifice; it requires knowledge of their language (which I detail in The Infernal Tongues), an understanding of their hierarchies and domains, and awareness of what they desire in return for their favors. Demons are not simply to be feared; they are to be respected as partners in the great work of maintaining cosmic order.

I have composed this article with that purpose: to serve as both instruction and invitation. Those who read it with open minds may find themselves contacted by entities whose messages they once carried in life—or, indeed, may begin receiving visions of their own before death finally claims them.

The door remains open. I await those ready to learn.

By Dr. Ignatius Malvora The veil between worlds is not as thin as scholars like to believe.
